- Why is the email service being discontinued?
We are transitioning away from email hosting to focus on our core expertise: website design, development, and emerging AI technologies that have the potential to enhance and transform our services. This shift allows us to deliver even greater value to our clients in these areas.
Email hosting has never been a primary focus of our business, and as it has become increasingly complex, we believe you’ll benefit more from providers who specialise in dedicated email services.
- When is the transition happening?

As of March 31, 2025, we will no longer accept yearly renewals for email hosting. We are providing an additional month for those clients who are on monthly renewals to allow time to assess options. Monthly renewals will not be renewed past April 30, 2025.

Support for active yearly subscriptions will continue until their expiration, with all email services ceasing by March 31, 2026.

- What are my options for email hosting?

- What will happen to my website hosting?
If your website is hosted with Unbranded Space, then it will remain unaffected. In some cases, hosting costs may be reduced due to the lower storage requirements after email services are migrated away. We will review each service on a case-by-case basis to provide the best value.
- Can I keep my current email account addresses?
Yes. If you choose to migrate to Microsoft 365 or VentraIP, your existing email accounts and data can be migrated.
- How much does the migration cost?

- What happens if I don’t migrate my email by the deadline?
After the deadline, we will no longer provide support for any email services. What happens next depends on your current setup:
- If your service is dedicated to email hosting: You will not be billed for renewal, and the service will be terminated on the expiry date. At that point, all email data will be permanently deleted. To avoid service disruptions and data loss, we strongly recommend migrating your email well before your subscription expires.
- If your email is hosted on the same server as your website: Your website hosting will remain active, and you will continue to be invoiced for it as the service renewal date approaches. Your email accounts will not be deleted, but you will no longer receive support or maintenance from us. While this option is available, we do not recommend it, as you will be responsible for managing and troubleshooting your email entirely on your own.
To ensure a smooth transition and avoid any risks to your email service, we encourage you to plan your migration as soon as possible.
- Can I migrate before my current plan expires?
Yes. Please let us know if this is something you would like to do and we will work with you to migrate your service at a time that is most convenient.
- Can I get a refund on my unused time?
Unfortunately, we cannot provide refunds for unused time. This is because we prepurchase hosting in advance and are unable to recover these costs. However, we are fully committed to supporting your current subscription through its expiration date and will dedicate our time at no additional charge to assist in migrating your email service smoothly to one of our recommended partners. Our priority is ensuring your transition is as seamless and stress-free as possible.
- I need lots of help. What's the best option?
If you prefer a fully managed, hands-off migration, we highly recommend the Microsoft 365 option. Business Core Associates (BCA) can handle the entire process for you, ensuring minimal disruption and a smooth transition.
If you’re comfortable managing some aspects of the migration yourself, VentraIP offers a reliable alternative. However, you will need to liaise directly with their support team for setup and troubleshooting. While we are available to provide guidance, our role in this option is primarily advisory.
- How do I start the migration process?
You can start by completing the form on this page. If you have chosen one of our recommended options. You will receive an email confirming your choice. Approximately 1 month prior to your plan expiry, Unbranded Space or one of our partners will be in touch to discuss and implement a plan for the migration process.
If you have chosen to manage the process yourself, then we will presume you have everything in hand unless we hear otherwise from you.
- Will there be email downtime during the migration?
Minimal downtime is expected during the migration process. Our partners at BCA specialize in ensuring smooth transitions with as little disruption as possible.
- My yearly renewal falls due BEFORE March 31, 2025. Can I renew for another year?
Yes, you can renew your email hosting with Unbranded Space for another year if your renewal date falls before March 31, 2025. We will continue to provide support until your plan expires in 2026.
We recommend choosing option 4 in the form and advising us of your intentions to renew for another year in the area for asking questions. We will issue an invoice as your renewal date approaches, and after you pay the invoice, your service will continue for another year. As your final expiration date approaches, we will be in touch to discuss your migration options.
