VentraIP is one of Australia’s largest and most trusted hosting providers. While we are not directly affiliated with them, we recommend their services because they are the retail arm of the wholesale provider we currently use for email hosting. This means you can expect the same high-quality email hosting experience you’re used to, with the added benefit of their dedicated 24/7 customer support.

Important Note: If you are currently using a cPanel-hosted email service and have multiple email accounts, please be aware that the Dedicated Email Hosting service works differently. Unlike cPanel, where multiple email accounts are managed under a single hosting plan, each email account in the Dedicated Email Hosting service operates as its own separate service and is billed individually.

Questions

  1. Begin by choosing your preferred Email Hosting Plan from the VentraIP website. Click the Buy Now option to purchase your email hosting and create an account with VentraIP.
  2. Once logged in, you can purchase additional hosting for each email account you wish to migrate over from Unbranded Space.
  3. You will then need to submit a support ticket via your VentraIP dashboard requesting a migration of your email accounts. You will be asked to select your current host, which will be either “cPanel” or “Other” (if you have dedicated Axigen Hosting). You will also select the matching dedicated email service that you have purchased from VentraIP. 
  4. You will need to provide your current passwords and hosting IP address. We cannot advise you on passwords, but we can assist you with your IP address. If you do not know your email password, then submit a support ticket with us, and we can reset your password. 
  5. Repeat steps 2 to 3 for every email account you wish to migrate.
  6. After the migration is completed your domain names DNS records will need to be updated. If Unbranded Space manages your domain, then you can forward the email containing your new settings directly to us, and we will update them for you at no cost. 
  7. You will also need to update your email settings in your email program (ie. Microsoft Outlook). VentraIP will provide this information and can help you should you need assistance in changing your settings.

Note: The above instructions are so you can assess what actions are needed should you choose this option. You do not need to memorise this information; we will be in touch to provide you with step-by-step instructions should you choose this option.

You will need to provide your email account passwords.

If you have cPanel hosting then you will also need to advise your hosting IP address which we can provide you with on request.

Migration to VentraIP is free as long as you coordinate directly with their support team.

We’re happy to assist however we can. If needed, you can add us as an additional user on your VentraIP account so we can liaise with their support on your behalf. In most cases, we’re happy to do this at no charge, but please note that if the level of assistance required becomes unusually high, we may need to apply a service fee.
